Join the Arizona Winds for Iron Horse Legacy: 200 Years of American Railroads, a powerful
musical tribute to the machines, people, and pioneering spirit that helped build this great nation.
Celebrating the bicentennial of the American railroad, this concert traces the dramatic journey of
the Iron Horse—from its earliest whistle to its modern day roar. The program opens with Samuel
R. Hazo’s electrifying “Ride”, capturing the excitement and momentum of America’s first
locomotives. Clare Grundman’s “Second American Folk Rhapsody” transports listeners to the
bottom of page
